Hello and welcome!

My name is Kylie Dunstan and I write and illustrate children’s picture books.

If I was going to be forced into talking about myself in the third person this is what I would (and) have said….

“Kylie Dunstan is an award winning author and illustrator of children’s picture books. Her first book ‘Collecting Colour’ won CBCA Picture Book of the Year in 2009. She has since written and illustrated six more books. Her most recent book 'Nannie Loves' was awarded the 2017 CBCA Honour Book for Early Childhood. Kylie was born in Broken Hill and finished her education in Adelaide.She has since lived in Gunbalanya (NT) on the edge of Kakadu, Hanoi (Vietnam), and Chicago (USA). She now lives in Melbourne with her partner and two girls.”
